The SLD for systems >3MW is a detailed single line diagram engineered for large-scale commercial and utility-scale solar PV installations exceeding 3MW capacity. This SLD provides a comprehensive electrical layout of the entire photovoltaic system, including PV arrays, combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection devices, and grid interconnection points. Designed to support engineering approval, permitting, and construction processes, the SLD for systems >3MW ensures accurate system representation in compliance with relevant electrical standards and utility requirements.

Key Features:

  • Designed for solar PV systems with total installed capacity greater than 3MW
  • Includes detailed representation of MV/HV transformers, protection relays, and switchgear
  • AC and DC voltage ratings clearly specified, typically up to 1500V DC and medium voltage AC output
  • Grid interconnection point, metering, and protection coordination clearly indicated
  • Compliant with IEC, SANS, NRS, or applicable local utility standards
  • Supports integration of central or string inverters with SCADA and monitoring systems
  • Earthing, surge protection devices, and isolation points documented in accordance with electrical codes

The SLD for systems >3MW is suitable for utility-scale solar farms, large commercial rooftop installations, and embedded generation projects requiring formal engineering documentation. It assists EPC contractors, consulting engineers, and project developers with design validation, municipal submissions, and grid compliance studies, ensuring that all major electrical components and interconnections are accurately defined for safe and reliable operation.

We ship orders within Canada only, with most in-stock items processed within 1–3 business days after payment. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are made Ex Works (our warehouse), meaning ownership and risk transfer to you once the order is released to the carrier. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and oversized or bulk items may incur additional freight charges. Tracking details are provided once your order ships. Optional shipping insurance is available at checkout for added protection against loss or damage in transit; without insurance, any freight claims are handled through the carrier and replacement costs remain the buyer’s responsibility. Please inspect all deliveries upon arrival and report any visible damage within 48 hours.

Customer pickup is available by prior arrangement at select locations (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Stratford, and Dartmouth) and typically requires two business days after payment to prepare your order. Pickup details and hours will be confirmed by email. Orders are held for up to seven days, and government-issued ID matching the order name is required at pickup. All items must be inspected at the time of pickup, as acceptance confirms the goods are received in satisfactory condition.

Please note that USA-bound orders—whether shipped or picked up—are final sale and non-refundable, and all cross-border duties, compliance, and risks are the buyer’s responsibility.
